Word Of Mouth Marketing Is Still Alive

Unread post by Sheryl Loch » Sun Nov 15, 2015 9:45 am

Getting new business because you have loyal customers who say great things about you is still as valuable today as it was 100 years ago. Word of mouth marketing has changed over the years, we now have customers ho don't just talk us up to their neighbor, those happy customers go online and tell the world.

It use to be that unless a new customer said "So and so recommended you", we had no way of knowing how they found us, but now there are tools to use online to help us track who is talking about our business and what they are saying. We still can't hear those private conversations between neighbors (and if you can...that is creepy), but as they chat on social networks...we can find out.

Do you know who is talking about your business?
Should you see a mention and jump in with a sales pitch?
How can you use word of mouth marketing to boost your sales?

Here is an interview with Gina Mueller of InsightPool to help you and your business grow with WOMM!

The tools an sights that are mentioned in the video are listed in the YouTube video description.

This was such a good convo with Gina. WOMM is as old as the hills, but with the increase of social people have forgotten their basic roots of Word of mouth. I love that Insightpool is bringing it back to the forefront and creating opportunities to manage and track WOMM.
