Holy smokes did we have a lot of things happen this week.

The top of my list is Facebook is finally going to get a content ID system for videos. This has been a long time coming after YouTube content creators have screamed and yelled about having their videos stolen off YouTube and uploaded by strangers onto Facebook. This crap had to come to an end and I hope all those people and pages that were to lazy to make their own content or to just share the YouTube video…get their asses nailed to the wall.

Tumbler also gets an update for reblogging and that should make the whole community happy…or is an online community ever happy with changes?

Now Jessica has a cool fashion update that people who love to shop online, but can never get the right size, fit and style may love. Forum thread about this topic - Online Fashion made Easy

She also talks about tennis getting into the social game…we all know how that went for golf – Golf Reporter suspended for using Periscope on the course

Lany talks about Google shutting down a project before it ever gets going…kind of strange they would even bring it up if they aren’t going to open it, but I am sure some people knew about it…so.

Now there are more updates talked about in this edition of Firehose Friday…I’ll let you listen in and tell us which one you were most interested in.

We have some post already discussing a few of the topics from this weeks video - Uber & Hilton hotels unite

It's about dang time that Facebook gets a content ID system. No more freebooting soon! I really like the idea of the Uber/Hilton partnership. I think that could be really great for the local marketplaces.
