What Are Your Favorite Productivity Tools?

There are so many apps and software programs out there. Some free, some not. Some inexpensive, some ridiculously expensive.

We're all looking for a little edge and leverage in our businesses? What are three apps or programs that you swear by, and why?

I've used and tried so many different apps, programs and tools. I never found anything that covered all my needs. I simplified everything over the last few months. I use Google Drive, Sprout Social and Nimble. That seems to be all I need at the moment. For time management, I use my Passion Planner/calendar and Google Calendar.

Sprout lets me manage all my social media accounts.
Nimble is my CRM.
I use Google Drive for everything else. Manage/Share files. Cloud storage.

**Disclosure: I have affiliate links for both Sprout and Nimble. A full disclosure is listed on my personal website here.

LANY< I LOVE your resources page! Thank you sooo much!

I am trying to use Google Docs more. I definitely love my google calendar and tasks and how it integrates with my smartphone.
I need a good planner but I'm not sure yet if the passion planner is the one... But I do like Evernote for saving and organizing info.

I think it's very easy for people to inundate themselves with too many apps, and if they're subscriptions, it can get really pricey, really fast.

Thank you! I've tried and tested all of these. They all fill a need somewhere.

I like Passion Planner better than most. I still thinking it's missing things. Yvonne is putting together a planner. I'm curious to see what she comes up with. I'll proably do Passion again for 2016 until I see what Yvonne has cooking.

It's very easy to get overwhelmed with apps and resources. It takes time to sift through and figure out what you need and like. Sometimes it takes quite a few bucks too. In the end it's worth it if you can find that sweet spot of efficiency.

I have Evernote, but since I do so much file sharing I've been using Google Drive WAY more over the last year.

I'll be exploring google drive more, but for file sharing I've used dropbox. Evernote is more keeping track of ideas, notes, pictures, and inspiration etc. I could be more effective with that too...

I REALLY WISH that next to any and all date and time listings on the internet Google would have an add to calendar button. BWahahahah. I was double booked this morning and I think I pissed off a friend. :/

I store everything in drive now. I need to go revisit my old Evernote files. I think I have some gold sitting over there.

Oops....that sucks. I hate when I do that. Hopefully the friend forgives and forgets easily.

Day to day, I use my phone's calendar app a lot. Any activity that is important and done on a regular basis ie: Payroll (we all wanna get paid) it is in my phone with reminders and alerts. So I can see it when I review my day in the morning then again at the time of the event.
I do the same for send weekly email, rearrange Pinterest boards, do weekly giveaway etc. If it's not a calendar~it's not getting done so that is my go to for getting it done!!

I say the same thing Jess.
If it's not in my calendar it's not getting done.

Thanks ladies, it really is the only way for me to ensure things get done. Set a day, set a time because "sometime" isn't on anyone's watch!!

With my calendar, I set up my dates ahead of time weekly. There are certain times and certain days that I block out and do not set any meetings, recordings or anything. It allows me to set aside specific time to work on my business or on the community. These blocked out times are pretty much non-negotiable to me.

I should take your hint and set aside some time for personal projects, working out and cooking, Lany #HUGS
