Keeping the family together depends on your chemistry with your lover/partner/spouse

When we're too busy with kids and the business and the house to even shower, the last thing most women think about are lingering kisses, intimacy-building back rubs, and a chance to "reconnect" over post-coital pillow talk, but what if that is the most important thing?

Love the work that therapist for parenting couples Rebecca Wong is doing to support moms and dads and families (she happens to be a writing coaching client and a dear friend too!)

This is the first in her 8-part series on Redefining Intimacy After Children: http://connectfulness.com/part-1-redefi ... -children/

"To model the resilient behavior they want to see in their kids, they’ve got to be resilient individuals, a resilient couple, and resilient parents.

Intimacy within a parent couple is the root from which the family’s resilience grows. Intimacy begins with how we tend to ourselves, each other… and then ripples out towards our children and our greater community."
